Martha Stutsman – President of Stutsman & Associates – has been a Hennepin County Master Gardener with the University of MN, Extension Division since 2013. This is a trained volunteer position and is part of a statewide initiative with the University of MN to provide quality, research-based horticultural education and information to the community, which includes you! Educational programs are available for all ages.
Please save the date for the upcoming Annual Plant Sale in May. This is held in Hopkins, MN and is a wonderful way to purchase plants grown by Hennepin County Master Gardeners as well as to support this program.
MN Seed Trial Winners and natives will be available.
Prices are excellent and if you plan to come, please show up early! Plants go quickly.

2017 Master Gardener events
Plant Sale. May 20, 2017. Hopkins Pavilion. Saturday 9 am-2 pm Thousands of Master Gardener grown perennials, vegetables including MN Seed Trial Winners and native plants!
Learning Garden Tour. July 8, 2017. Locations to be Announced. 10 Year Anniversary Celebration! Self-guided tour of gardens by Master Gardeners, featuring Education Stations. Saturday 9 am-4 pm. $15 in advance; $20 day of event
Minnesota state Fair. Aug. 24 – Sept. 4 Your gardening questions answered by Master Gardeners. Master Gardener presentations on The Dirt Stage. Located in the Agriculture & Horticulture Building.
Free Gardening Classes. Various Hennepin County Libraries. Free gardening classes held at Hennepin County libraries.
Farmer’s Markets. Master Gardeners are on site to answer gardening questions at Hennepin County neighborhood farmers’ markets.
